Converser is a dating communication coach for Android: it helps you say what you actually feel, remembers what matters about each person you are getting to know, and quietly watches out for anyone trying to play you. Every suggestion is a draft you read, edit, and send yourself. Your conversations stay encrypted on your phone.
What it does
Converser is guided by two helpers. Claire is warm and good with words. Chris is calm, and he watches your back. Between them they cover the two things that actually go wrong when you are talking to someone new: not knowing what to say, and not noticing when something is off.
Claire helps you find the words
- Message suggestions. When you are staring at a blank reply box, Converser offers you a spread of ways to say it, sorted by tone, and you pick the one that sounds like you.
- Help me say this. Type the rough idea in your own messy words and it tidies the wording without changing what you meant.
- It learns how you write. Converser picks up your habits from a short practice conversation, so the drafts read like you and not like a greeting card. You can view that style summary, relearn it, or delete it, at any time.
- Screenshot import. Point it at a screenshot of your chat instead of retyping the conversation. The reading happens on your phone and the image is thrown away straight afterwards.
- The story so far. Converser folds past conversations into readable chapters, so weeks later it still knows who this person is and what you have been through together.
Chris makes sure nobody plays you
- Scam and manipulation awareness. Converser points out patterns worth a second look, calmly, without accusing anyone and without making you feel stupid for hoping.
- Indicators, never verdicts. It will never tell you a person "is a scammer" or declare someone safe. It shows you what it noticed and leaves the judgment where it belongs, with you.
- A private page per person. Their likes, their job, where you met, your own notes, and any green or red flags you have spotted yourself, all kept on your phone.

How credits work
Converser is free to install, and there is no subscription. The parts that cost us money are the AI-powered ones, so those run on credits. New accounts get 15 credits free to try it before spending anything.

- Credits never expire. Buy a pack, use it over months if that is your pace.
- You are only charged for results you actually get. If a request fails, errors out, or is refused, nothing is deducted.
- What a request costs depends on how much text is involved, so a short reply costs less than folding a long conversation into your story. Every charge is itemized in Credits History inside the app.
- Writing in your notepad, your notes, your dossier and reading your story back are all free. Credits are only spent when you ask the AI to do something.
- No subscription and no pressure. No countdown timers, no "this price ends tonight".

Privacy, in plain words
This is the part most apps in this category are vague about, so here is the whole of it.
- What stays on your phone: your conversations, your screenshots, your notes, each person's page, your story chapters, your notepad, and your writing style. All of it sits in an encrypted database on the device, with the key held in your phone's secure hardware. We do not have a copy.
- What leaves your phone, and only when you ask for a suggestion: a short, capped piece of the conversation, with names, nicknames, phone numbers, email addresses, social handles and links removed and replaced with placeholders first. That stripped snippet goes to our processing partner to write the draft, and it is not kept as a conversation record. The list matching placeholders back to real names never leaves your device.
- What never leaves your phone at all: your screenshots and any other images, your notepad, and your archived conversation log. Images are read on the device and discarded, never uploaded.
- What we hold on our side: your account and your credit balance and history. That is the list.
- The honest catch: because the key never leaves your phone, we cannot recover your data if you lose the device. There is an encrypted export in Settings for exactly this reason, and it is worth using.

FAQ
Is this a subscription?
No. Converser is free to install and runs on credit packs you buy once. Credits never expire.
Does it message people for me?
No, and it has no way to. Every suggestion is a draft you edit in the notepad and copy into your own messaging app yourself. That step is deliberate and cannot be skipped.
Will it pretend to be me?
No. Converser is a coach, not a ghostwriter. It helps you sharpen your own words, and we will never claim its drafts are undetectable or that they were written by a human.
Can you read my conversations?
No. They are encrypted on your device with a key we never receive. We cannot read them, hand them over, or recover them.
Then what actually gets sent when I ask for a suggestion?
A short piece of the conversation with names, numbers, addresses and links stripped out and replaced with placeholders. Screenshots and images are never sent.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your data is gone, and we cannot restore it, because we never had it. Use Settings and then Export My Data to keep an encrypted backup somewhere safe.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. Converser is for adults, 18 and over, and confirms this when you set it up.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Android comes first, and iOS follows when funding allows.
