Before you run the installer
YusaDM isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will show a warning the first time you run it. This is normal for a new, independent, unsigned app. Here's what that looks like and why it happens.

What does "Works with AI tools (MCP)" mean?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard AI assistants use to operate other programs. YusaDM ships an MCP server inside the app, so an assistant such as Claude can queue, track, and cancel downloads for you, and scripts can do the same through command-line verbs. It works only on your computer, under your Windows account: there are no open ports, nothing listens on the network, and nothing about your downloads leaves the machine. Available on Free and Premium alike, from version 2.0.5.
Does YusaDM need an internet connection to run?
No, and there is no always-online DRM. The app runs offline and the Free capabilities never need a connection. A premium license re-checks itself with the payment processor when you happen to be online, and premium keeps working for up to 14 days without one. Stay offline longer than that and the app drops back to the Free column until the next successful check, then unlocks again.
